Q: One of my neighbors had these two chairs outside on junk day, and I picked them up. They had 3 layers of upholstery, the oldest a faded green boucle over cotton batting and coir (shown in picture). The darker green is an unfaded section. I don't know what kind of wood they're made of, but they're stained to look like walnut. Fasteners are screws and glue. There's no markings on them anywhere. Any idea what they are?

For what it's worth - these chairs are in the kitchen of Daniel Craig's cottage in the US version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Saw it right after I read this post.
The chair on the left is Henry and on the right is David
