Yikes, iDevice lover and tattoo artist, Dave Hurban, went an extreme route, invisibly affixing his iPod in unique fashion. The iDermal is a sub-dermal solution...yes, that's magnets implanted underneath the skin...all strong enough to hold the smallest iPod without additional straps.

What happens when a new iPod comes out? Or they stop using metal backs?
Just glue on a magnet to it?
Wouldn't consistent contact to a magnetic source damage the electrics in an ipod? Actually...
Wouldn't consistent contact to a magnetic source damage your epidural skin layer or worse?
This man has had a crazy crazy notion
How is this new? Cochlear implants are magnets drilled into the skull. this is the hearing man's version of a CI.
I've always thought this type of implant was a cool idea (this isn't the first magnetic subdermal I've seen- though the one I've read about was in a fingertip, and allowed the owner to sense power fields when fixing computers or other electronic devices) but I agree with Seanirl, the pressure on the skin layer seems like a great way to help the magnet unsheath itself.
