For over 35 years, professor Oiva Toikka has been creating these beautiful glass birds for iitala. These glass marvels are full of contradictions: they seem both delicate and sturdy, both minimalist and intricate, and both motionless and full of life. Each of these birds is individually hand blown, which allows each of them to attain its own personality; true one-of-a-kinds, which is also why they've been extremely popular worldwide.

Although their price tag might seem a little steep to some, considering the workmanship that goes into producing them, they are completely worth it.
