Hey, Aaron, that's actually not a LINNARP table in the first photo. It's a TRABY table, which has a very different look from the LINNARP in person:

Anna thanks for the clarification- The TRABY is remarkably similar to the LINNARP and even sold for the same price - $99.99.
I guess it's my prejudice against pine but I think these tables look cheap and . . . not very special.
Are these stain-able?
Don't know about stain-ability, but I think they'd look lovely painted a beautiful color and then finished with a varnish or seal of some sort.
