The folks over at IKEA's inspirational blog, Livet Hemma, show us a stylish look for their Ivar side unit — and all it involves is a can of paint.
Part of the Ivar organizational system, the Ivar side unit is a simple ladder-like structure that comes in untreated pine and several different dimensions.
Livet Hemma painted the vertical bars black, left the horizontal slats unfinished, leaned the unit against a wall, et voilà — instant accessories rack! A basic stand becomes a chic display for scarves, belts, bags, and a host of other fashion accessories.
