Small space. High style. Even if your space for "outdoor living" is confined to a small balcony, you still have some options to spruce it up with modern style. Perusing through IKEA's latest summer collection, we noticed they offered some items specifically for people with balconies.
•Ideal for balconies that are really narrow and can't accomodate a full size table, the BLANKO folding table folds up when not in use and can be adjusted to 4 different heights. ($19.99)
•If you want a little coverage, they have this KOLJÖN wind/sunshield fabric that comes in multistripe, white, and navy. ($9.99)
•Finally, to add a little greenery, they have this metal OLDA flower box holder ($6.00), and acacia wood BJURÖN flower box ($14.99).
Unfortunately, none of these are available online, so you have to go to your nearest IKEA to get them. Does anyone have any of these on their balcony? Does anyone have any other ideas/products they've seen for people with balconies? Please share in the comments!

I'm having a hard time trying to purchase the KOLJON wind/sunshield fabric. They aren't in stock in the Paramus or Elizabeth store. I also tried ebay but no luck. Anyone else have any suggestions?
I have a very narrow balcony and bought the BLANKO folding table last year which fits perfectly ! I also found some narrow, foldable chairs to go with. Pictures are here:

loving the flower boxholder as the first attempt to bringing my dusty and neglected balcony back to life!
I wish IKEA would bring back their simple cylindrical pots in black and white. They were cheap and looked great. Similar pots from design stores cost 10 times as much.
