Double Duty! We saw this kitchen system for wrangling utensils in the kitchen at Ikea earlier this week and thought they'd make perfect garden pots for a small space.
You can mount the rail ($1.99) to the wall and then just clip on the colored pots that have drainage holes in them already (99 cents each). They're the perfect size for a little herb garden or a hanging plant.

yes, thanks for letting us know this is available!
Wow, so many great uses - kitchen utensils? Kid's room? plants? pens/pencils/markers in an office?
Thanks for posting!
Yup! Ikea sort of agrees. Note the kitchen section of the ikea catalog, and you'll see them showing one of their kitchen systems being used to grow some herbs.
would be EXCELLENT if a) i lived closer to IKEA or b) the cups were available on the site.
i have these hooked over the metal security bars on our back deck windows. they're perfect! and they clip on the bars just right!
a , two million thumbs up.
I have a quick warning about these bars...I bought two of these and two packs of the S hooks - I was going to use them to hang my bags and accessories. These bars - the shorter ones or longer ones - aren't the correct length to be secured into the studs. A standard stud is 16" and these measure at 21 3/4" and 39 1/4". You can't put any weight on them or it will pull the bars out of the walls. I think it is so funny since they are supposed to be for pots and pans but without the security of the stud it won't hold the weight. The Grundtal bars are the correct length but aren't as thin and unnoticeable.
If you use proper anchors to hold the screws it should hold up alright. I've never had one fall out of drywall or plaster and I have way too many kitchen odds and ends.
