Color Inspiration: I wanted colors that weren't traditionally "baby" so that the room could grow with our little guy. I loved the idea of a calming, neutral gray wall with bright pops of yellow. My inspiration for the exact color mix of gray, yellow and green came from Graham's Fabric Fabulous Nursery on Ohdeedoh.

Tip for Using Color: Pick fabrics first! I picked the yellow elephant print for the cornice boxes and then matched the paint for the yellow dresser. The perfect fabric or rug can be hard to find and paint is so easy to match.
Colors Used: We used Benjamin Moore's Gray Horse on the wall and Valspar's Dandelion Wish on the dresser/changing table. I also used a variety of shades of green in the accessories.

I used the same fabric for my daughter's curtains, but in brown. I keep seeing it on Ohdeedoh lately--who knew it would become so popular?

The knobs were from Pottery Barn Kids (they came red and I spray painted them). I'm not sure they sell them any more, but some people have had luck finding them on eBay and other sources.

My sister actually made the height chart! I bought the tissue poms from Pom Love on Etsy...very affordable and great quality.
