I'm stepping away from the keyboard tonight and taking my new book on the road! The big kick-off party is happening TONIGHT (Thursday) at Ligne Roset in Chicago, where I'll be hanging out and having drinks with Apartment Therapy team members and readers. If you're in the area, stop by and say hello. (Bring your friends and RSVP here with LIGNE ROSET in the subject line so we can put you on the list.) I'll be presenting the new book, sharing some stories, and getting to know our readers in the Windy City.
Special thanks to Ligne Roset for hosting the party, and congrats to them on celebrating their 150th (!) birthday. They've got a bunch of things on sale now in honor of the big 150; see this post for a preview.
We'll be hosting a giveaway at the party, raffling off copies of the Big Book to two lucky attendees!
After Chicago, I'll be heading to LA, where I'll be presenting the book, hanging out with our LA crew, and meeting our West Coast readers. Then I'm stopping briefly in Dallas (June 28-29). No book signing date there yet, but let me know if you've got ideas, and I'll keep you posted. Finally, I'm going to Atlanta, where I'll be doing another book signing and saying hello to our Southern readers.

Oh how I wish I could come to your LA stop. I haven't been to the Heath Ceramics store yet and what a great reason to go.
Alas I will be helping my parents move into thier new, smaller house. Perhaps I should get them the book for a housewarming gift.
Oddly enough, I just got this book from our library and had no idea it was so new. I have really enjoyed looking at it and am greatly inspired by it. Especially now as I am beginning to redo my small bedroom. I even posted about the book just last week!
