The iMac shelf is a cute little thing that will help you cut down on your desktop clutter. It's handy to put down quite a few different accessories.
This isn't just any little shelf, it's a DIY-shelf that Dylan Hanback made for his iMac to help him store a few gizmos. He cut the oak wood at an angle so that it would match the slant of the iMac stand. The other end is propped using a 'U' shaped rod with a bit of rubber hose to act as a brake line.
Hanback said that his next idea was to add a small cable spool at the bottom of this iMac Shelf so that it will provide cable management. It's a great idea and it utilizes some space that would normally be wasted. The cable spool looks pretty good and useful in the photos that we've seen.
Anyway, the end result looks great and it's quite easy to make, so you'll be able to cut down on the clutter on your desk with this little shelf.

Very curious though of the part that actually grips on to the imac because that is the only part not photographed and obviously the most important part!
