There are a few good cleaning services which we've been tipped off to; one of them is Imacuclean. Of particular note since we last posted them, they now offer a Handyman Service to take care of your small jobs. They do painting, woodworking, plastering, and "repairs of any kind."
In business for 57 years, Imacuclean provides service in "general cleaning, heavy cleaning, move-in or move-out cleaning and post construction cleaning."
Recommended by New York Magazine, Imacuclean "specializes in moving jobs" and will clean anything (except windows from the outside) including floors, walls, upholstery and drapes.
For rates, calling is required. All workers are insured, experienced and speak English.

I have had a very poor experience with this company. Their office does not communicate effectively with their subcontractors.
They sent cleaners without making an appointments, the cleaners did a sub-par job and either did not know or ignored our instructions, and we still have dirty floors.
Very frustrating experience. I guess you can get lucky with the subcontractors but the office is extremely disorganized and are very poor communicators.

I can't speak to the quality of Imacuclean. I also run a small buisness and I know that everyone has a bad day. That goes for office managers, and cleaners. That said some of these reviews seem pretty disappointing. My company http://notjusthandymen.com/ also does cleaning. Our cleaners go through a background check and a few days of training before being brought onto staff. As a designer I see cleaning as a science or a form of reverse engineering more then a... well, low wage job. My cleaners are the best paid in the industry and our rates are good. Imacuclean is average at best.I have used them three times in my place and the work is always so so.Zen Cleaning Service is another option for anyone looking for above average cleaning services but their prices are kinda steep.Try them
