Micro Sport: Music In To Your Ears

For quite some time now, companies have been competing with one another to release the smallest and most efficient pieces of technology. It seems as though products can never be small or portable enough for some people; but we have a feeling this music player will be too small for most.

We thought the iPod Shuffle was as small as they were going to come, but, oh were we wrong! The Micro Sport looks like a reworked Shuffle, but with an ear bud built in and a lot more storage. We're actually pretty surprised that Apple didn't try to take the Shuffle to this level &mdash maybe they realized there aren't enough people willing to walk around with a block sticking out of their ear.

The Micro Sport does pack quite a punch for being so miniature. The MP3 player comes with 4gb of storage &mdash not bad for being the size of a Lego. There's a USB connector on the device that can be plugged into your computer for charging and adding/removing music (works with any OS), and then later plugged into the additional ear bud if you so choose. There's always the option of looking like a really important business man and sticking with just the Micro Sport in one ear.

We're thinking the Micro Sport would be good for exercise, moms on the go, at the office, or even just walking around town. The small size could be an asset or a hindrance.

The Micro Sport is imported from Japan and is available for purchase through ThinkGeek for $79.99.
