The jury may be out on the practicality of a bathtub in the bedroom, but count one vote in its favor, especially when said bedroom is situated in a romantic French Renaissance revival chateau-turned-bed and breakfast in the heart of Montreal.

I spent a recent weekend getaway at Casa Bianca, an incredible architectural gem located across from the park at the foot of Mont Royal and thoroughly enjoyed the out-in-the-open bathtub despite a bit of post-shower humidity — let's face it, bathing alone is quite a bore. Check out Casa Bianca's website for more information and to see lots more photos of the building. If you are going to incorporate a bathtub in the bedroom (an idea which I LOVE, btw), It should be featured in the center of it or with a large window framing it. This example looks like it was stashed in a converted closet.
oh, i think this is intimate and lovely for a romantic hotel room! it all looks so clean too, which is a big plus.
Love the idea, always have. My only issue the wood floors getting wet...the damage.
i would seriously hate having a bathtub in my bedroom. i think it just looks so bizarre.
In the house I share, my bedroom has a shower that was made out of a closet. I love it. Gladly gave up the storage space for that convenience.
I once had a toilet in my bedroom, in a closet. The sink was in my bedroom. It was quite convenient, and I was very little so didn't mind the aesthetics of it. Overall, I like combining the spaces.
I'd much rather have a sink than a bathtub in my bedroom. I use the sink waay more than the tub when it comes to hygeine, etc.
I think would be nice in a warm country, but in winter in a cold country I think wouldn't be a good idea. In winter I like to have a very warm bathroom when I take a bath or a shower. On the other hand I like my bedroom a bit cooler that my living room. And I do take long showers and even longer baths. That builds up a lot of humidity. I could open the window to lower temperature and humidity but than would probably gets too cold if it's evening and freezing in the morning....
I rather walk two steps more and bath in the bathroom.
