IN MY BEDROOM - WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO YOU?
NEW THEME FOR OCTOBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER.
This year we are going to change themes more often. Our fourth theme is In My Bedroom. Drawing from this theme we hope you will submit more pictures for us to feature each Friday.
Here are the ground rules for 2008:
1. The title of of the picture must relate to the words "In My Bedroom" (you may define that any way you like)
2. The picture should relate to the concept of home (you may define that any way you like)
This is our weekly celebration of ACCESSIBLE photography, which means beautiful artwork that you can actually hang on your wall tonight.
We're happy to be doing it with our friends Marty Weiss and Hannah Wallace. who are curating pics from Meter Gallery. Reader submissions will be posted bi-weekly and Meter will be in between. That means it a full on amateur and professional show!

Can't vote!
weird but i voted anyway.
very weird
I don't really get what's going on here.
Uh. First year in art school?
The only thing I want to know about other people's bedrooms is how they decorated it.
No more posts like this, please.
nothing says comfy more than sleeping with a couple pounds of jewlery wrapped and twisted around your neck and arms.
Haha. Really, Mr. Dangerous? I wasn't aware they put cats in porn.
But, yeah, these pictures aren't very good... weren't there any other entries?
Mr. Dangerous,
Prude much?
now I can vote.
I think that first pic is fabulous.
While I wouldn't say the first pic looked like porn (except for the poor quality of the image...er, I imagine, teehee) I thought it was weirdly irrelevant and slightly creepy, and wondered why it was posted. Art? Hardly. Making some statement about interiors? Nope. Ditto the second pic - what does some depressed-looking long-haired chick in front of a pair of blah curtains have to do with AT?
Said with humor, not being meany comment-hatrix (good name for those of us who get a bit intensively negative in this space huh?!)
They have pussy in porn all the time.
so. confused.
Uh, dumn.
um, why is this dumb? It is photography that is making the association 'in the home' i get it completely 'friend' Confused? Weird? hmm..
Furthermore, this is a prime example of why I have taken weeks if not months off now from AT, (first comment back) because the commentors and viewers act and have become, like a class of 6th grade girls at a picknick. eww..everything is ewwwy.
Tough for a guy to read what people write here. I've been told I am a small (very small) part of the viewer base.
This is not porn people, and for anyone to consider that probably has not seen good photography, not that this is most representative of that, but shoot you should have seen Dennis Quaids loft. Man, I was there earlier this year and you wanna talk porn photography. Different kind of 'pussy cat' in the photos on the wall and we're talking life size. 10 feet x 10 feet on concrete walls. The contrast was fasinating.
Not always apples and wicker baskets with a slant on crate and barrel and whatever other generic brand. I just wish that AT could be more gritty. I will give em that there are from time to time articles that are very appealing. I have noticed that their editors have become increasing younger too, thought that could be a positive?
Keep dry today...
