Product: Incase Perforated Hardshell Case

Does it have to do with Star Wars? Legos? What's with that epicly awesome MacBook Pro case, anyway? Well, if we had to label Incase's slick perforated case somehow, we'd call it an industrial-grade hardshell for those who feel the need to inject their daily lives with a heavy dose of style and extra protection.
We've been fans of Incase's hardshell line, but when we laid eyes on their latest Perforated Collection, we instantly fell in love.
Calling it 'timeless' may be pushing it, but they certainly have a way of designing cases that snap perfectly with the lines of the already sexy Apple products, while keeping all the necessary designed features such as battery check, sleep light, lid closure, USB, power, and disc reader readily available.
If anything, it's far less obnoxious (apologies for the personal injection here) than tagging the living crap of your Apple MacBook with vinyl stickers and calling it 'art.' I personally enjoy a little more simplicity and less noise in life.
Other surprisingly awesome perks: 1) There's non-skid sliders on the bottom to keep it from flying off the dining room table, 2) even though it's hard plastic, it significantly dissipates heat for lap computing, and 3) it doesn't add that much more bulk to the computer. Oh, and did we mention it's beautiful?
Pros: Large cutouts allow for easy access to necessary features, dissipates heat, eye-catching, best in the industry build-quality.
Cons: Expensive, but worth it.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Oh I thought this might be a hard rubber or something at first. Does the plastic help against drops? Maybe not as applicable to the laptop but this review got me curious on their iPhone cases. Don't look quite as cool as this Macbook version though...
i have the black case and love it, i held off getting the white as the glossy plastic looked like it would get filthy with daily use. Is this the case?
I also have the black version of this on my 15". Love it. It's a bitch to get off, however. And you will have to take it off to clean the computer pretty often, as the perforations allow for dust and debris to collect.
I took it off a couple weeks ago for a cleaning, and my 6 month old MacBook Pro looks like it just came out of the box.
Very pretty
Nope, I've actually purposely spilled coffee on it, and the hard plastic keeps it from staining. It's actually quite good at withstanding minor bumps, too. I have a canvas bag with little to no protection and I've been confident enough to use it to carry around the laptop now that I have the case on it.
Glad others are enjoying the fun design as well.
I actually have owned this case for about 6 months for my MBP. The perforation is nice however dirt will get into between the holes and you should clean it once in awhile.
About durability, I dropped my MBP from 3 ft in height and the case was fine, however the bottom plate of my laptop is bent, but it could have been worse.
My laptop still functions and its awesome. It'd probably be broken without the case.
