Scalloped Designs For Your Decor

Just last week we scored an amazing vintage lamp shade for $2 (yessss). We've been admiring the new find in all its scalloped glory and wondered what other scalloped designs one could incorporate into their home decor…

1-2 Painting might be the easiest way to incorporate a scalloped design into your home decor. We love the playful nature of these blue walls and their rolling border.

3. Our new purchase — a vintage scalloped lamp shade. The fabric has a shiny texture that adds to this oversized fun find.

4-5 You might want to think about bringing a piece of furniture that echos a scallop design. This chair (which could use some recovering) has great bones and would be a great standout piece in a foyer or bedroom.

6. Dated to some, scalloped wood detailing in an older home reads cozy to us (and can look great with the right accessories).

7. A scalloped transom window greeting you as you enter the bedroom is oh-so-charming.

8. While we usually don't go formal, we love this sophisticated vanity space complete with scalloped valances above.
