Last week Sarah posted about a BBC News story on typewriters used in decor and Apartment Therapy readers weighed in on what they thought about this accessory trend. Typewriters are hardly the only mechanical devices to be seen on shelves and tabletops; we both notice (and love) the use of old cameras as well.
For lovers of design and photography alike, old cameras can be fun to use as accessories to both bring interest into an interior space and show interest of a beloved hobby or profession. Much like the typewriter, some folks love them used as decoration, others think they're nothing but dust catchers.
What do you think about using old-fashioned and classic cameras in decor? Do you have anything similar displayed in your own home? If you do, is it because you love photography or just love the way old cameras look? Tell us about your opinions on using old cameras in decor!
