I like both options for different reasons.
Physical storage is just as desirable as my comp's digital storage. Even better is if this piece allows room for the original jewel cases - in case I want to give or sell the CD/DVD later on.
BUT - I love this piece of furniture for apartment storage possibilities! It could be my go-to area to hide away all kinds of things that would fit in those drawers AND it looks great!
