I've long been a fan of iconic designer Dieter Rams, whose work for Braun in the 1950s still looks cool and modern today. These photographs by Philip Sinden of the home Rams designed and still lives in with his wife allow a nice peek at the designer's aesthetic.
The minimal spaces may not have the coziness some people look for in their own homes, but the addition of bright moments of pattern and texture break up the coolness of the house. And the ultra-organized workshop is seriously dreamy.
