Expanding the definition of industrial to include a lot of metal accents, functional pieces or just pieces whose aesthetics have been stripped down to a functional minimum, you can really find industrial ideas almost anywhere. We just think they’re a great way to add another layer of interest into a home’s style, even if the dominant style is a far cry from industrial. You don’t have to look or feel like you live in an empty loft to benefit from the industrial feel; you’ll see in these house tours how a little bit goes a long way and how flexible of a style it is!

Love all of these!
That drum coffee table is awesome. And that first kitchen picture- what an amazing space!

I don't think I understand what "industrial" is, because some of these don't seem at all industrial to me. The shelf in the last photograph, for example.
I kinda really love the lamp in #9.
I'm with creativeneurosis, the clean lines, shiny polish and sparkling glass of the shelf in the last photo isn't terribly "industrial."
I'm with creativeneurosis and talby, several of those are not really "industrial." Or, if they are, I had to look so hard to find the industrial details that they clearly didn't make as big an impact as the article let on.
Great post; especially appreciate the way these photos demonstrate how industrial accents can go a long way in creating character.
I agree with creativeneurosis.
I'd call many of these shabby chic.
I adore the lamp in #9
