The industrial look is hardest to pull off in a child's room. Its hard materials and sharp edges seem harsh while its durability and functionality seem appropriate for kids. This big boy room we spotted at Hvitt is a great example of when industrial style works well.
We love the simple metal shelving which hold bins of Legos and train tracks. The bed is made of wood pallets. The metal lamp was found at a flea market. What makes this room stay on the appealing side of industrial? The books and toys stored and on display throughout the room. And that terrific moose duvet cover! A bed that is looks (and is) inviting provides a much needed softness in a room filled with industrial style. For more photos of this fantastic room, check out Hvitt blog.

Nomade Express Slee...
I love that bed!
I like the whole look. I loev grey with yellow for a boys room. Its very city chic.
thats a cool duvet comforter...it looks like a moose! Very cool colors...perfect for a pre-teen to teenage boy!
What a great room! We have wooden pallets just waiting to be converted into a bed frame when our son is a bit older. He's still sleeping on a mattress on the floor (easy for me to nurse him to sleep) but I can't wait until I can make him his very own big boy bed!!
I also love the colours! Grey and yellow are just perfect together.
digging most of the pieces in the room! i have a crush on industrial these days...
