There's nothing more frustrating than when you are going around on your business and your earphones just pop out. All ears are different, but there are a few earphones that work really well, no matter what your ears look like.
The Apple earphones might look nice, but they just kept popping out of my ears when I was running. It was a pet peeve of mine, which is why I upgraded to a decent pair of in-ear headphones from Shure. I've had mine for almost two years and they work really well. At the time, I didn't really want to spend $300-500 on a noise-canceling pair. Instead, I got the which have served me well.
1. Shure SE115 Sound Isolating Earphones
I have the older version of these earphones and they suit my needs. They come with a variety of sleeves. The one that I prefer is the triple flange sleeves, which never pop out of my ears.
2. HiFiMAN RE-252 In-Ear Monitor
These in-ear monitor earphones are neutral but will work well depending if you dislike hearing strong bass sounds. Check out our full review here.
3. NuForce NE-8 Earbuds
Very comfortable, that will hold onto your ears, no matter what, but once again, these earphones lack a bit of bass. Read our full test here.
4. Sleek BMW-Designed Earbuds For Sennheiser
These good-looking earphones from Sennheiser which were designed by BMW. They come in a few different models to suit all needs.
5. Shure SE530 Sound Isolating Earphones
These earphones come with a bunch of features yet still look the same as the lower-end models. They will cost you $500.
