Remember assembling plastic models as a kid and the boxes had little age ranges on them sometimes? This one gets an age 3+, I mean it's a threaded pipe people, the tools required for assembly are your two hands, why would you pay someone a premium for twisting it together for you? Oh? You're too lazy to go to a home depot to pick up the pipe in person? Fine, go online to mcmaster carr and have it shipped.
That is very clever! I'm not sure how I'd make my own, though.
Wouldn't work here in shaky LA. I like the look, though. I've seen it done with wood shelving. I like that look and have contemplated it.
