Yesterday we talked a bit about oversized artwork, and it's not that we don't love the look, most folks are in agreement about that, but it's the price that seems astronomical. This look is part print out, part diy and the end results are perfect for a party backdrop or just hanging on the wall in your apartment. Want to learn more?
Jordan over at Oh Happy Day is always up to something fabulous. If she's not on your daily read list, then that must be remedied. Her work is always affordable for all budgets and things are fresh and fun without fail.
This time around she's been making this giant party backdrop. It's printed off in long sheets and then adhered together, but not before painting large playful polka dots on it. All the print outs totaled $47 at Kinkos. You just have to know how to get things done!
We love the look and when it comes to hanging something of this nature in your home, you could easily use bulldog clips at the tops and bottom to keep things up. Pants hangers are another option or you could probably fashion something out of little 1"x1"'s from the hardware store and some hand clamps spray painted a hot color!
Go check out all the details over at Oh Happy Day and do away with the thinking that you could never afford something like this — it's totally affordable!
