It's not the lightest (11 pounds) or the cheapest (€500, or $635), but the Cave Tent can claim an innovative feature that many other tents can't: It sets up in less than a minute flat — frame, tent and flysheet included.

Designed by Frackenpohl Poulheim for Heimplanet, the inflatable Cave Tent is equipped with a pump system that rapidly fills air in five independent chambers. Just roll it out and pump it up before the campfire even gets going.

Heimplanet hails the polyester-nylon Cave Tent as the "Inflatable Iron Grid," referring to its ability to withstand up to 75 mph winds. It sleeps up to three people comfortably — assuming you don't accidentally pitch your tent on top of a cactus, that is.
