Inhabit wall flats are 18" square molded tiles made from chemical-free, recyclable paper pulp that's been molded into surface patterns. They're modular, easy to apply, and removable, so they're a great cosmetic fix for plain, ugly or damaged walls.

The new designs shown here are called Chrysalis and Architect and both are available directly from Inhabit.

They are priced at 86.00 for a box of 10, which will cover 22.5 square feet.

my cats would claw these to death in about 5 seconds... an entire wall of scratching post.

If you were inclined to use a professional to help with the installation, would you call a wallpaper installer? or a handyman?

I'd love to hear from someone who has used these to cover a large-ish area....

These are really cool, but a bit expensive. I saw these a while back (before I realized Inhabit did them too), and are more affordable:

I'm also curious to hear about other peoples' experiences with this.

It looks great, but considering its material, I worry about its durability. Can it withstand the heat of a fireplace? Or the moisture of a kitchen?
