Can a house this huge be green? At least one person thinks so... but we're wondering what you think.
...and, not surprisingly, he's the developer of the house, and other humongous luxury properties. Although it's been built green, the utilities bill on this house alone dwarfs what many pay in rent. The point the developer makes, and which Inhabitat seems to go along with, is that some people want giant houses, so if giant houses are going to be built, they might as well be built green.
Though we've spoken out about the excess of square footage before, we're tempted by the argument. But then again, we wonder if there might be a way to push back against this kind of excess. What do you think?
