Inspiration: 12-Cubed House

Today is full of small space inspiration. This morning, we were drooling over Brett Butler's tipi at Appalachian State University. Now we're spending way too much time looking at pictures of Canadian designer James Stuart's 12-foot square house.

Stuart is building these tiny modular homes, and he's living in one. Stuart moved in two months ago because he felt he needed to prove that a person could actually live in a 12x12 foot space.

The Cubes have a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, and can be placed on an existing home lot. They're selling for an average price of CDN$24,500. And, although Stuart is living in his, the Cubed website advertises the homes as guest houses, studios, etc.
