Spotted: These un-carved non-orange pumpkins on Sunset magazine's blog. Besides the fact that we're crap at pumpkin-carving, we really like the simplicity of these autumnal vignettes. The white pumpkins are our favorite... and we're not quite sure why, but the green ones (below the jump) just look... wrong... to us.

The green ones may look wrong...
...but they taste better.
...they look wrong because they're not pumpkins, they're squashes...
Grey pumpkins are even cooler!
Those owls were ugly in the 60s and still ugly today.
I had to laugh...those aren't pumpkins!
the "green ones" aren't pumpkins! They look like oversized scallopini squash to me (similar to pattypan).
Pumpkins *are* squash, by the way. Just another of many varieties.
I think they're all good looking squash/pumpkins but that red wall is the prob! It's practically neon and doesn't work with those other colors.
Ha! What a dork I am.
i looooove those owls, where are they from, i must have them :)
I love white pumpkins, they're so...chic...if squash can be fashionable, white pumpkins definitely are!
