Last month, we featured a hack of the Ikea Kura loft bed, beautifully executed by Ohdeedoh reader Vanessa. She scored the bed on Craigslist, then switched out the rather institutional blue panels with some gorgeous textured panels from Inhabit Living. Vanessa just sent us a link to this post on her blog, giving us a look inside her boys' bedroom, which she recently completed. As great as the loft bed looks on its own, this lovely room really makes it shine. Our hat goes off to you, Vanessa!

I would love to find out more about the 2 shelf organizer (where did you find it) and the embroidered alphabet. GREAT ROOM!
I still love the bunk bed, and I am thinking of 100 different ways to use those great wall tiles in my home. . .
Looks fantastic, but having just purchased the Kura bed for my young son, I noticed the mattress used on the top is way over the recommended height. Ikea says the mattress used on the top shouldn't be more than 5 1/2" high. These mattresses, while I'm sure are quite comfy make the top bunk unsafe for a kid who rolls around.
Lovely room though.
