Inspiration: A Rainbow of Rooms

Here in New York, we are heading into a weekend of cold and rainy weather so I thought a colorful rainbow of rooms could add some needed cheer.

There is even a bit o' gold at the end! Happy Friday!

Fantasic use of colour - so bold! I particularly like the punch of the orange. Splendid.

What are those little rivet things in the carpet around the door jambs in the first photo? I've never seen anything like that before. Are they decorative or do they serve a purpose? I kind of like the added detail which breaks up the intense color some.

Holy moly, orange that goes up the wall and right onto the ceiling -- now that's dedication to a color! I like it, though I'd probably end up single if I tried it.

Is it just me, or does the green example have gold on its ceiling? It's definitely not white, and it looks gold, but maybe that's my monitor.
