Inspiration: Angled Picture Frames

It's been awhile since we made mention of De Gournay for their lavish wallpapers. While checking out some of their different paper selections recently, we came across this interesting angled framing idea. Click through the jump for a larger version and our thoughts on the arrangement.

Some things are better bigger, and this room is one of them. Check out the full size version over at De Gournay. (Click on number 5 in the upper right).

Although hanging frames at an angle like this wasn't really on our radar of things to do, we love the look and the intimacy it brings to the room. Even though the ceilings are high, it brings things back down and keeps the room feeling warm and collected. We're curious to see how this might look with artwork that isn't of the same color or with different sizes of frames.

What do you think? Do you love it, hate it, or can't imagine hanging something like that?! Leave us a comment below and let us know!
