Inspiration: Apartment FH

via OWI

We stumbled across this gallery of images of an astoundingly beautiful apartment. Sparing use of color, careful and deliberate placement of gorgeous furniture and the subtle architectural details make this one of the most inspiring interiors we've seen in a while.

OWI // Office for Word and Image has a gallery of photographs of this inspired apartment interior in Ghent. Inside of an old mansion, this small space is designed with a minimal amount of architectural detail and a specific focus on the positioning of key pieces of furniture. For instance, there are no doors in this apartment, rather walls that open up. We don't have the freedom, as renters, or the budget to make this happen in our home, but we can daydream!

We have a specific envy of the beautiful collection of chairs--the line and scale of the assorted pieces make for a beautiful array of seating. The worn sofa and vintage looking chairs mix nicely with the more modern looking kitchen and bedroom, making for a great balance of minimalism and antique influence.
