It seems that a new trend among designers is incorporating felt into the home's decor. One designer who is taking the trend and running with it is Paola of Atelier Pompadour. You may remember Paola's other creation-- a really cool entryway IKEA hack which she shared on Apartment Therapy. Now she's back with decorative felt pillows that incorporate an attention to detail that is quite inspiring...
A map of the world dotted with travel lines feels familiar and whimsical at the same time.
We really enjoy the mixture of Paola's color combo, red and gray--which to us fells cozy and inviting.

The repeated simple but crisp embroidered lines lend a delicate quality to each of Paola's creations.

I'm not a big felt fan....but the world map is really cute.
Love the world map.
There's no Greenland!
Other than that, really cool. I think I'm going to DIY a world map like that.
I think it would be cool to have a blank map pillow and add trips that you have been on. I think I might have to try that.
I love these. I checked out the Etsy shop too, so many great creations!
