Kickin' back and enjoying the sunset couldn't have been made easier over at this incredibly chic patio lounge area set in Malibu, CA. With features like weather-proof big screens, outdoor-mounted speakers, and a full-on dedicated A/V server controlling every piece of electronic equipment around the house, it's no surprise the coastal property has won several awards, including nominee for home of the year over at Electronic House. Come see what the hype is all about, below the jump.

Along with the sexy weather-proof 46-inch LCD from SunBriteTV, Sonance X6S square speakers surround the entire pool area are complemented by other square-shaped decor, masking the entire setup into a cohesive whole that plays a large part in creating that patio lounge vibe.

"A Crestron control system can route housewide video satellite and DVD feeds to the SunBriteTV on the deck, and audio from satellite radio, Integra disc changer, or Crestron iPod dock and XM tuner."

Must be kind of nice to have the option to go outside and watch a basketball game. If it were us, we'd probably we very paranoid with our 46-inch TV taking a beating from all that salty ocean breeze. Luckily, the team at DSI Entertainment Systems have made sure that everything was designed to take anything mother nature. Throw in multiple access points to control the media itself - via 4-inch wireless Crestron touchscreens - and you've got our dream vacationing home, no doubt about it.
