Seating in the bedroom is my idea of indulgence. Meant for private enjoyment with only the closest of souls, it creates an air of intimacy and a place for quiet. Whether you have tons of room or only a corner, here's some inspiration for setting up your own boudoir sitting area.
Placement. If you're concerned about space, anchor your sitting area at the foot of the bed, but if there's an object of interest, like a fireplace or window, and you have the room, start there.
Seating. Sofas, chaises, and lounge chairs are great if you have the space. Benches, butterfly chairs, ottomans, pillows, even comfy rugs can work in small areas.
Decorate. What do you invision using the space for? Reading? Cocktails? Catnaps? Make sure to have a cozy blanket or a place to set your wine glass.
Do you have a sitting area in your bedroom? What do you use it for?
