Inspiration: Blue and Gray Rooms from Behr

Paint manufacturer Behr has a new online inspiration gallery that sorts rooms by color. If you're looking for paint ideas, it's a good resource. Although viewing colors online is a hit-or-miss approach, it's a helpful place to start. Do your research on the computer, then visit the store for chips and samples to see if your colors match up. LOVE the Russian Blue, but I don't get a lot of light in my apartment.

What do you all think about using the Blue Opal instead? Might it read a bit darker (more like the Russian Blue) in a darker room?

I use double (ostensibly color corrected) lcd monitors of different specs. Which makes it funny that I love two palettes on the one monitor and two on the other monitor! Like the post says - see it in person first! Great post.

Been considering blues for my bedroom, saw all of these at the store. Instead, thinking about a deep blue with dusky purple & white accents, for a "moonlight" theme. Have some owl prints I'd love to hang, some white ceramic vases... all furniture is dark wood. Thoughts/ideas?

It's worth spending the few extra $$ to upgrade to a premium paint manufacturer like Pratt & Lambert or bet yet, Farrow and Ball. The pigment, finish and richness is far superior to Behr.

I've always been pleased with Behr paints, as have consumer reports.

I've not seen Ikea look so good as in these photos.

I feel as though blue and grey are great colors. You don't get sick of it, it's not too flashy, not plain...calming, elegant, sexy, sophisticated...everything.
