This month is all about colorful homes here at Apartment Therapy, and I looked to my three favorite online magazines for some inspirational photos. Bold, contrasting colors used fearlessly are one of my favorite things! It's just getting to that fearless part that's the hardest… these folks have definitely achieved that!

1. Christian Leone's apartment demonstrates the use of complementary colors orange and blue in a sophisticated and eclectic living room. Lonny magazine has a fantastic spread on his home, which is chock full of colorful pops.
2. Rue magazine showcases the home of Leah Ball Steen, an interior designer that implements one of my longest favorite color combinations of red and turquoise.
3. Fucsia and yellow are used very strategically in this room designed by Melissa Warner. The colors really pop against a white palette, creating a dramatically bold color statement in the room. See more in High Gloss Magazine.
