If you, or anyone you know, has ever referred to themselves as a chair whore, then this is the site for you. This self-proclaimed chair porn site is a treat for anyone who enjoys hot, sexy chair design...
Joel and Maria Pirela, of Blue Ant Studio in Miami, Florida, have embraced their slightly obsessive lust for well designed seating and created Chair Whore, a site devoted strictly to images of beautiful chairs. These are the real things, though, no knockoffs here. The site is strictly images of sleek models from the hottest designers: Eames, Hans Wegner, George Nelson, you name it. The images aren't burdened by superfluous text--with a simple link to the source of each image, this site is devoted to unadulterated imagery of well appointed seating. And nothing more.
We love it.

I'm part chair whore and part lamp trap, my mother is so proud.
I adore chairs. I love the ghost chair and the kong chair on this site.
i'm more of a chaise floozie myself....
So is whore the new sexy? You can label me a prude but I'm tired of the sexualization of, well, everything.
i'm a lamp whore. always falling in love with another.
All the usual suspects. No Thonet, no Chippendale, no Shaker.
I'm tired of the PCification of everything. Get a life.
A woman I know furnished her studio apartment with a big bed and little, feminine chairs, so she'd have a lot of sex.
Does the word "whore" apply, and what type?
I thought I was the only chair courtesan - I've found my people!
Ooh, lamp tramp, I've never heard that one before, but it's so catchy
oops meant *tramp* trap is a whole 'nother label
Wow. If you took away the Eames chairs you'd lose half the site.
Im such a chair whore. But dont have the money. But Im so proud I managed to get a lime green Eames DAR chair on my artist budget.
plus Thonets are not so hard to get, so i have one of those. they will be forever lovely
Does chair 'therapy' come with this label? I have 3 complete sets of dining chairs, just bought a new dining table, and don't like any of my existing chairs with the table... guess who's going shopping? Ugh. I'm sick of chairs.
Chairapy.
Couldn't help myself.
I've been seriously editing my chair "collection" lately. This follows on the heels of my occasional table "collection". While it's refreshing to be able to walk around the living room without stubbing your toes in the dark, I fear that I am on the brink of starting another "collection" (imagine this scenario with sofas!). This wall hanging might just bridge the gap in my life.
