There are some ideas that are so simple it's crazy. They typically fall into the category of "why didn't I think of that." Window treatments aren't usually found for just a few dollars, which is why we love the idea above. Click through the jump to see the easy tips on turning this inexpensive blind into something fantastic.

Jessica Jones over at How About Orange whipped up this great twist on a plain old roller blind.
By mapping out her design on the backside of a roll of contact paper and cutting it out, she was able to dress up what normally would be painfully plain (or something you might be stuck with... any renters out there?).
