The kitchen is so often the very heart of the home. We know it's where most people gather, friends reach for drinks, family sits around while dinner is prepared, significant others talk over coffee. And we think there's one detail that makes a kitchen feel just right: the handmade touch.
Be it a screen-printed tea towel, a hand-carved wooden bowl, a piece of furniture crafted by an artisan, or a potholder sewn by a grandmother, these special handmade touches bring a sense of art to the space. More importantly, though, they bring a warmth that store-bought manufactured pieces just can't. A weathered cutting board, a hand-hewn ceramic dish, even a small framed piece of unique art. These are the things that make us fall in love, over and over again, with the kitchen.
