Someday we hope to own a home of our own in the city, and when that day comes, we want a home library like this one. This stunning wall of built-ins was created by craftsman
Tony O'Malley of Emmaus PA, and we have to admit that all these empty shelves call to us...

We love the idea of the window seat nestled in among the shelves, and know that we would spend hours curled up there with a book. Even though we are usually drawn to the color and decor in our inspiration photos, it is the possibilties that this empty room calls up for us that makes these pictures part of our permanent clippings file. Do any of you sometimes find yourselves more inspired by a blank room than a completed one?

Love.
its a good start... i'm thinking more like what the Beast gave Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast- now THAT is a library :)
Love, love, love! Want! I'd never get out of the seat again well, except to get a new book.
Elegant

my goal in life is to have a beautiful library (less beauty and the beast, though i LOVE that too, more Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell) with all my favorite books, a fireplace and a velvet armchair. that is all i need!
This is a very beautiful library with exceptional craftmanship. We build similar units in Florida. Visit our Gallery page on our Website for ideas and inspiration! http://www.furnituredesigngallery.com
Thanks!

Beautiful! I love the big window in the center. I bet it is gorgeous when full of books. I just wrote a post titled 25 Inspirational Home Library Ideas which includes a cool video slide show.
