This dwelling was created in a backyard shed for use by a teenager. The structure, divided into four stories, is both extremely small and undeniably cool. Made entirely of birch plywood, the interior is unified while still creating unique spaces for sleeping, living, and studying (and there's a bathroom, too!)...
Designed by H2O Architects, almost everything is built-in — storage, seating and work surfaces. In a space this small and intimate, the great number of open stairs double as seating! Wow. I would have loved this as a teenager. I was lucky enough to occupy the top half of our house, but my own separate apartment would have been better.
OMG... I want this as an adult! As a kid I had the loft of a barn and a rickety and potentially deadly tree house - nothing this amazing.

It is a shed for a teenager to hang out in like a fancy treehouse - thus no kitchen or bathroom. Dang, I would never have gone home.
Just to clarify: the bathroom (toilet and shower is in the closet on the second landing. See the sink w/ faucet? Behind that. On my site there is a floorplan. No kitchen is necessary, because the kid *lives in the backyard* behind the house. Capisce? :)
