Whether it's a courtly foyer to welcome guests or a relaxed mudroom for the kids to unload their bags and shoes after school, your home's entryway is a place for first impressions, hospitality, and utility. Make sure it's well-equipped for all three, and integrate style along the way, with pieces from the Threshold Collection at Target.
Welcome fresh design into your home this Spring with Threshold, a new collection for house and home at Target. Whimsical, beautifully designed, and durably crafted, the Threshold Collection is everything you'll love about your home.
First Impressions Count
Set the tone for warmth and welcome with friendly accents like the golden glow and bright yellow pattern of the stylish Threshold Ombre Glass Lamp with Blue Ombre Shade.
Utility is Key
Beautiful as it may be, your entryway is also a place to unload the day's shopping bags, muddy boots, and the mail and keys. This Wood and Metal Accent Table makes a perfect landing pad for keys, cell phone, and other accessories you want to unload as soon as you walk in the door. Establishing a designated 'inbox' in your entryway for placing incoming mail and shopping is another great addition. The Threshold Wicker Basket is a stylish receptacle for temporarily holding items that need to be sorted and placed throughout the rest of your home.
Hospitality House Rules
Make the transition from public space to private a hospitable one with accents that connote warm greetings. Flowers are a perfect choice; a small faux flower arrangement,
like the Peony Arrangement is the perfect welcoming accent for a small foyer space. Or, give the same welcome impression with a floral print, like the one on Threshold's Floral Boots and Floral Watering Can. Brighten everything up with a sunny Starburst Mirror.

I keep seeing that galvanized and wooden stool in the Threshold ads, but, I can't find it anywhere in the collection online?! Is it actually a part of the collection or just a prop they keep using in the shoots?
This is way too much. The best threshold is a decluttered one.
I would also love to know about that stool in the first picture - help!
I almost bought into this line and was very excited about the Captain's mirror… Until I saw it was made out of plastic… You just can't be sure about these types of things until you see the item in person…
And that brass rhino is nowhere to be found either! I've scoured the site and 2 different stores but can't find it anywhere. Has anyone actually seen it?
I think they are releasing things in waves. I have been stalking the brass accent table and the brass animals too but they aren't available yet it seems.
For whatever it's worth, I bought the floral-printed garden boots shown above a few weeks ago and they're fantastic. Sturdy sole, nice arch support, and pretty to look at. They are pulling double duty as gardening boots and rain boots for me. Great deal for only $22 at my Seattle-area Target.
They're on the shelves! As of yesterday, in WNY anyway, the stool and gold animals are on the shelves! Good luck finding them by you!
