• Anna, over at Door Sixteen, knows all about black and white. One of her recent posts highlights the new line of housewares by Diane Keaton! Dubbed K by Keaton, the line is available at Bed Bath & Beyond, and sports some bold graphic pieces.
• Scanning Blissful Blog, I came across this image they posted of new wallpaper from Fine Little Day. Paired with a bold graphic rug and piece of artwork, I love the contrast of both color and pattern.
• Over at Nordic Design, I rarely find myself uninspired. This peek inside the home of the Berzant family is no exception, as I found myself craving the simple black and white palette of their home. Well, except for the children's room, which is adorable!
• Alright, speaking of Fine Little Day (one of my absolute favorite blogs) and the new wallpaper they've come out with, check out the same pattern on a pillow (and the same rug) in the living room of Elizabeth Dunker, the creator.
• That Cole & Son wallpaper that we all love (or hate by now, who knows!) makes a subtle appearance in the hallway of this great black and white room, seen on Fine Little Day.

Technical point, but Black & white is "achromatic." In the language of color, dichromatic would refer to two colors from the color wheel. Edit, check, edit....
I'm loving that first photo. Big, bold graphics always make me smile.
Love #1 as well *almost* as much as I dislike #2 which is too much by far. Covet the pillow cases in #3...drooling here.
(Ha. Every time I see the overused term 'ubiquitous', what immediately comes to mind is chevrons and that floor covering in #2).
I love the first picture so much!!

To be clear, despite how it appears in the photo, the K by Keaton linens are a very strong cream/ivory and black, not black and white. The duvet is a fairly heavy canvas like fabric. That said, it's actually a pretty fabulous collection.
I see the black & white rug on picture #2 over and over on AT posts. Does anyone know where it's from?
@mabelog
Naturally, it is ikea stockholm rand.
I LOVE the room on Fine Little Day! Perfectly casual and modern.
Note: not the one with the trees and Gnome-art. That room looks kind of psychotic.
