The serene, sun drenched apartment of Sydneysider Juliette Arent, nearly had this Melbournian consider decamping to the sunny city. Juliette is an interior designer of Arent & Pyke, and her own apartment is a testament to their style – clean, with personal touches that tell a story. It’s reconfirms what a classic base white walls and ceilings with dark wooden floorboards are to work up from. It’s also a nice change to see a minimal approach to hanging artworks. More great photos after the jump.

ahhhhhh. love the art. and the french doors. and the sconces. and the light. a wonderful haven.
me likey! very elegantly sparse, with a great mix of modern and classic opulence.
Elegant and yet inviting with personal touches that give it a sense of the personality that lives there, super cool.
Meh. Although I do love the faceted . . . lamp? . . . on the table in pic number four.
The orange Thonet(?) chairs rock!
totally wonderful.
What a great place! Anyone know where the blk/wht striped pillows are from or where something similar can be found? I must have!
So much to love! Why do those pillows on the couch make me want to wear a beret and invite myself over with a warm baguette?
is there any information on that couch? it's wonderful - looks like a fluffy pillow. Pefect combo of a clean profile and comfiness.
For me...perfection!
Elegant simplicity...
the fabrics on the bed and sofa (is that actually a slipcover?) look so fluid and streamlined.
love everything.
Awsome. Every corner of this apartment has something interesting to it.
looks like i am going to have to burn down my apartment and start again. ak.
