After coming across a lovely photo by Karl Juengel on Oh Happy Day!, we followed the link to his portfolio and proceeded to lose track of the entire morning. Juengel's interior shots show calm, inviting spaces with a touch of whimsy, and his photos of party tablescapes are pure eye candy. See more after the jump...

Perhaps we can't really imagine a party where the decor matches the home furnishings, but this is so beautiful nonetheless. Love the juxtaposition of the sleek stainless steel with glossy painted wood.

Even those who don't share our dachshund fixation will perhaps appreciate this fun vignette. Maybe too many pillows and vases for a real-life living room, but we love the muted color palette.

Those affronted by Eddie Ross' dresser in yesterday's post may prefer these two examples of simple accessorizing.

A totally doable party place setting that looks polished and elegant.
Take a look at Karl Juengel's portfolio for more inspiration. (Even his commercial product shots are fun to peruse!)

Where are those pillows on the couch under the dog picture from?
Pepper... I was just getting ready to ask the same thing!

Some are discontinued Jonathan Adler (Stockholm Canvas Collection, IIRC) and others are Thomas Paul...
I love love love the dachshund photo!
Can anyone identify that couch under the dachshund picture? (And if so, does it come in other colors than white?)
Anyone know who made/makes that black chair and ottoman in the first photo? I love it.

Being a sucker for Dachshounds, I love that photo and the entire vignette. Dachshounds make me laugh and to be honest, I grew up w/ the breed so know them well.
That entire vignette's color scheme is a little too muted for my taste but I think it would also work with a more bold color pallette as well.

It's the Tides Turn Armchair and Ottoman in the Espresso finish by Martha Stewart for Bernhardt.
