Like many apartment dwellers, we don't have a dedicated office in our place, so when we started working from home our dining room became a dining room/office. We were happy to see that Leah's recent dining room redo included the addition of a workspace - the streamlined area is a great example of how to put an office in a non-office room.
We love the clean aqua and white color pallet, and the use of IKEA's Grundtal rail and Asker containers to hang office and craft supplies on the wall, keeping the desk surface clutter free.

holy crap. beautiful.
I would love to spend my workday in that beautiful environment! Thanks for the inspiration.
i was just over there (her blog), and you need to look at the dining area...just gorgeous. take a peek at her re-do of the attic (under house voyeur archives), which became her daughter's (future apparel designer) room.

I have those same curtains in my dining room and I cut them too short when I was attempting to hem them as I am terrible at sewing! I love the idea of fixing the whole problem with adding at dark brown at the bottom.
where can i buy those curtains? :) i looooove them sooo much
Pretty palette, nice curtains!
ditto what everyone else said about the curtains. gorgeous! where can the rest of us find them??
Okay, I want in on the curtains as well. Is there thing similar out there?
Need them curtains!!
Love it! Especially the color. I'm trying to fit something similar somewhere in my apt. Except my desk is slightly bigger and I want a cushy chair.
Love it. Inspiration.
beautiful; where can I get those shelves??
Oh my! I *love* this workspace! So pretty!
Now that. Is How It's Done. Gorgeous (the dining room is to die for).
I need to incorporate a sewing table into my eat-in kitchen, and this helps a lot.
Thanks for the inspiration!

I just saw her blog..I want to be her daughter..this woman has great flair.
this is so cute
simple and sophisticated, what a perfect balance.
does anyone know where those curtains are from?
She says in the post that the curtains are from Ikea, but unfortunately, discontinued:(

This space is like reading on the beach, tranquility savored.
