One of our fellow ATers (is that what we're called?) has taken on the task of remodeling a houseboat. Not only are we way jealous, but it's since made us more interested in houseboat life. So, imagine our surprise when we were rummaging through Flickr and stumbled upon this great photo of two modern houseboats in Seattle. They look like the prefab houses you see in Dwell magazine!

Those are the coolest things Ive ever seen.
I love them. I am sure the view from inside is not too bad either.
I don't know how many times I've driven past those and didn't give them a second thought. I guess I should take a closer look next time.
Think that's varnished wood trim and in the boat world, "orange" might not be considered the most flattering description, though I think you are spot on.
Can you make a prefab into a houseboat? Not that it's cheaper, but faster, maybe?
They look like they are going to tip over very easily! 0_0
