Clicking through some of our house tours, we remembered how cool we thought this wall of orange curtain was when we'd seen it the first time in Debbie and Olivier's One Window House...
It's not a giant shower curtain (our first thought), it's a safety curtain a/k/a a welding curtain, designed to protect welders from UV rays and fire. Available in grey, green and yellow as well as in safety orange, it can be found through sources that cater to the building and construction industries such as Wilson Industries. In Debbie and Olivier's One Window House, where it acts as a door for their master bedroom closet, it turns what could have been a problem or an eyesore into a much-talked about solution.

As an industrial worker this idea is scary, and fairly ugly.
I don't know if it's the color or just the idea of it, but it seems somewhat dexter-ish to me. eep!
Sorry, but blegh. Looks very 1950's-smalltown-general-store-keep-the-merch-in-the-front-window-from-fading-esque.
Or maybe it's just me.
i think it's kinda cool. maybe i like creepy stuff :-\
I like it a lot. Very creative and different solution. I have no industrial/ welding background, so the color works for me, too.
